The Mall

After church on Friday, there is a short 4 hour gap between the service and youth group. To fill this time, I often go with some friends to CityStars Mall to eat and watch a movie. Usually I go with my friends Sofia, Zeke, and Krystina, although occasionally we meet someone else or take some other people too.
This particular Friday we decided that after our usual stop at the food court where we all ordered our normal lunches- Chicken sandwich from Hardee's for me- we would go and see the movie Old Dogs. We sat at the very back of the theaterIt was a faboulous movie and at the intermission(halfway into the movie they have a break of about 5-10 minutes) we all sat and talked about our favorite parts in the movie so far. The four of us watched some little kids run up and touched the blank movie screen excitedly. Sofia decided that she too wanted to touch the screen.
"No Sofia," We all argued against her.
"Yes!" She said, now determined. She got up and started to march up to the screen when Zeke grabbed her wrist and pulled her back. She tripped and comically fell back into her chair. Then she started saying that she sprained her ankle and she started saying, "Ow! That hurts! Why wouldn't you let me touch the screen?" Krystina and I started laughing hysterically, it was just too funny!
Next to us an old lady was staring at us oddly. As we replayed the scene in our heads, we realized that to an outsider who didn't hear our conversation it would have looked something like this:
Sofia started arguing with us. We were getting aggravated, so she started to run away. Then Zeke grabbed her and hurled her back into the seat as she struggled. Then he hurt her so that she couldn't run away and Krystina and I were laughing about Sofia's pain!
The old lady probably thought we had kidanapped Sofia. That made the four of us laugh so hard we couldn't breathe! It was a great day and one of the many adventures that made my life exciting and fun.
Krystina, Sofia, and Zeke
